Max's Mints wanted a marketing campaign that would celebrate their product and the specific date together. I came up with Max's Love Mints, a campaign where we share the love for our mints, the planet and each other.
The BriefMax's Love Mints' marketing team wants to create an extra event and campaign linked to a special day of the year to promote their product, Max's Ginger Mints. You are in charge of creating a website that tells more about the product, the event and the day. The brand really wants to make an experience out of this and create new memories with their product.

The Concept
The Max's Love Mints revolve around Global Love Day (May 1st). We invite the user to recycle their mint tins and use them for a romantic time with their loved ones. To give them inspiration, we will display multiple ideas of tin recycling that can make their special day more romantic. We focus on the USP of sustainability that Max's Mints stands for and give more info about what makes the mints unique. The Max's Love Mints are targeted to the creative people that want to have a romantic or platonic data on Global Love Day. It offers a chance for one of the 2 to surprise the other one with a card on Global Love day and a wonderful date together, with the help of Max’s Ginger Mints.
The Process — WireframingTo get a clear content overview, I started out by listing the content and creating a swift userflow through the site. By going over this with several testers I was able to remove disturbances and make the experience more enjoyable to users.

The Process — Style
Since the brand wanted to divert from their own branding with this campaign, I only had a few restrictions with styling. The style I chose to work with was intended to work well with my concept and Global Love Day. For this, I went with a focus on a monochromatic colour scheme and a few complementing colours in similar hues. Combining this with the red and yellow of the product worked very well. To make the product imagery come to life I chose to work with flat illustration and line art.The style I wanted to go for now offered a cleaner feel, a monochromatic color scheme and would work with imagery combined with line art and geometric shapes as can be seen in the screenshot below.

The Final ProductThe Max's Love Mints campaign inspires you to take part and have a romantic date with your special someone on Global Love Day. This project taught me a lot about marketing and incorporating a product in illustrative work. I look forward to experimenting more and bringing brands' stories to life in future projects.
